What a day we had. It was Mom's birthday today. I was going to take her on a harbour cruise, until I found out how much they were. I love her but not that much.
We spend the day in Sydney. We started at Circular Quay, That is were you get all the ferrys. We headed across the harbour to Manly, and we went by the beaches that we saw yesterday.
We arrived in Manly and walked down the corso, Its sort of the main street between the ferry and the famous surf beach (Manly). We sat on the steps of the beach and watch the surfers try to get up. Not many made it.
We then headed back to the ferry, had lunch sitting on a picnic bench watching the ferrys. The people watching is fantasitic here, anything goes....
After the ferry ride back to circular quay we walked around the Opera house and Botanical gardens. The Bats have moved in and made themselves at home in the big old trees. They have become real pests, Killing some of the trees.
We then headed back to Jenny's place, Where Mick is still trying to remove the kitchen. We had a cup of tea with them, and then went with Margaret (Jennys mom) out to the eastern suburbs for the night.
